What we have here is a collector owned Lost in Space (tv show, not movie) Press Books for the First and Second Seasons. This is a 1990’s fan produced publication and it is hard to know how many are still in existence.
This is in the same condition as when I bought it many years ago and ov
erall, the book is in nice condition.
All 58 pages are present - no defects, marks, writing, rips, smudges, tears, etc.
The measurements are 8 1 /2“ across (left to right) x 11” high (top to bottom).
I always opt for full disclosure with even the smallest imperfection and this is what I see:
-There are some spots on the front cover where there are some specs of the ink that I assume were from the printing process....see pic # 5.
-The upper right corner was obviously dinged and there is some scuffing on the front cover. Both front and back covers plus all 58 pages all have either a small crease (toward the front of the book) or waviness (toward the back of the book) in the upper right corner....see pics # 8 - 12.
-On the back, there is a small....I don’t even know what to call it…indent that you have to really look for or feel for it. If you hold it up to a window and rock it back and forth in clear daylight, you will just be able to see it. It's so small that I can't get a clear picture of it.
-It is held together with two staples and on the inside of the book, both of the staples show corrosion...see pics # 6 - 7.
For many years now, this has lived in a SMOKE FREE, pet free, mold free home and stored flat away from moisture and light.
I am not a professional collectibles grader and have stated the condition to the best of my ability as an amateur collector.
Note that all my photos have a "watermark" image for protection but obviously the item in this listing doesn’t have a "watermark" printed on it.
